Suzuki Violin Program Overview:

 

·        Founded in 1972 by Carol J. Dallinger, Professor of Music at the University of Evansville .

 

·        Faculty includes two full-time and two part-time Suzuki specialists who teach nearly 100 students from the Tri-state area.  Undergraduate students enrolled in the University’s Suzuki Pedagogy classes also teach in the program.

 

·        Students from the program have gone on to pursue outstanding careers in music.  Others have pursued other careers but have continued to keep music important in their lives.

 

·        The Suzuki violinists are frequently invited to perform for festivals and concerts throughout the Tri-state.
