Career Opportunities
Music therapists have opportunities
to work with all ages of people in all walks of life and with all types
of disabilities. According to the most recent AMTA survey, music therapists
work with over 40 different client populations, in 47 work settings. The top
four work settings are schools, self-employment or private practice, nursing
homes or assisted living facilities, and inpatient psychiatric units. For more
